NOTICE OF MEETING
Notice is hereby given that the Chase County Commissioners will meet on September 22, 2026 immediately following the budget hearing meeting and hearing to set the final tax request. Said meeting will be held in the meeting room located at the Chase County Courthouse, 921 Broadway, Imperial, NE. Meeting is open to the public and the agenda for such meeting is kept continuously current and available for public inspection at the office of the County Clerk, 921 Broadway, Imperial, NE, 308-882-7500.

  NOTICE OF MEETING

CHASE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

The Chase County Board will hold its regular meeting on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 8:00 a.m. MST unless there is a holiday, then the meeting will be held on the prior business day at 8:00 a.m MST at the Chase County Courthouse. Board of Equalization may be held at the first meeting of each month, if needed. The method designated by the Chase County Board to provide reasonable advance publicized notice will be published in the Imperial Republican Newspaper. In case of refusal, neglect, or inability of the newspaper to publish the notice, the Chase County Board will (i) post such notice on its website, if available, (ii) request the newspaper submit a post on a statewide website, if available, established and maintained as a repository for such notices by a majority of Nebraska newspapers, and (iii) post such notice in a conspicuous public place in such County's jurisdiction.

Open forum is 8:00-8:30am and again at the end of the meeting. Any issue needing board action must be on the agenda. If no one from the public is present agenda items may be addressed. 

An agenda will be kept current and available to the public during normal business hours at the Chase County Clerk’s Office. Agenda may be modified at such meeting to include items of an emergency nature pursuant to Section 84-1411 of the Nebraska Revised Statutes.
