NOTICE OF MEETING

CHASE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

     The board will convene at 8:00am on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in the Commissioner meeting room at the Chase County Courthouse, Imperial, NE for their regular meeting. The meeting is open to the public.

     Open forum is 8:00-8:30am, any issue needing board action must be on the agenda. If no one from the public is present, agenda items may be addressed.  

     An agenda will be kept current and available to the public during normal business hours at the Chase County Clerk’s Office. Agenda may be modified at such meeting to include items of an emergency nature pursuant to Section 84-1411 of the Nebraska Revised Statutes.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

BOARD OF EQUALIZATION

Tuesday, July 9, 2024

     Notice is hereby given that the Chase County Board of Equalization (BOE) will convene for the purpose of reviewing and deciding written property valuation protests filed pursuant to Section 77-1502 and to consider and correct the current year’s assessment of any real property which has been undervalued or overvalued pursuant to Section 77-1504.

            The Board will reconvene on July 9, 2024 beginning at 7:45am for protest hearings. Additional hearings may be held during the month of July. Decisions will be made on July 23, 2024 immediately following the conclusion of the regular commissioner meeting. The BOE may remain in session through July 25^th. Dates and agenda may be adjusted as required and will be kept current in the office of the County Clerk.
