  NOTICE OF MEETING

CHASE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

Tuesday, June 23, 2026

     The board will convene at 8:00am on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, in the Commissioner room at the Chase County Courthouse, Imperial, NE for their regular meeting.  The meeting is open to the public.

     Open forum is 8:00-8:30am and again at the end of the meeting. Any issue needing board action must be on the agenda. If no one from the public is present agenda items may be addressed. 

     An agenda will be kept current and available to the public during normal business hours at the Chase County Clerk’s Office. Agenda may be modified at such meeting to include items of an emergency nature pursuant to Section 84-1411 of the Nebraska Revised Statutes.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

BOARD OF EQUALIZATION

     Notice is hereby given that the Chase County Board of Equalization (BOE) will convene for the purpose of reviewing and deciding written property valuation protests filed pursuant to Section 77-1502 and to consider and correct the current year’s assessment of any real property which has been undervalued or overvalued pursuant to Section 77-1504.

            The Board will convene on June 23, 2026, beginning at 8:30am for protest hearings. Additional hearings may be held on July 14, 2026, and on July 21, 2026, if needed. Decisions will be made on July 14 or 21. The BOE may remain in session through July 25th. Dates and agenda may be adjusted as required and will be kept current in the office of the County Clerk.
